Michelle Nichols

Michelle Nichols is Senior Director of Public Programs at theAdler Planetarium in Chicago, IL, and she has worked at the Adler for over 30years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and astronomy from theUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Education degree in curriculumand instruction from National-Louis University. Ms. Nichols leads theteam responsible for delivering educational and interactive astronomy, spacescience, and history of astronomy programming to Adler’s onsite and outreachaudiences, and she directs the public engagement activities utilizing the Adler’sDoane Observatory.
