Disturbed, an American heavy metal band from Chicago, was founded in 1994. The group features guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, lead vocalist David Draiman, and bassist John Moyer. Donegan and Wengren have been with the band since its early days, while Draiman replaced original singer Erich Awalt in 1996, and Moyer took over bass duties from Steve “Fuzz” Kmak in 2004.

Their debut album, The Sickness (2000), catapulted them to fame, fueled by hit singles like “Down With the Sickness” and “Stupify.” Disturbed continued their streak of success with Believe (2002), Ten Thousand Fists (2005), Indestructible (2008), and Asylum (2010), all of which topped the Billboard 200. After a hiatus in 2011, the band returned in 2015 with Immortalized, followed by Evolution (2018) and Divisive (2022).

Having sold over 17 million records globally, earned six RIAA certifications, and secured multiple top-ten singles on the Mainstream Rock chart, Disturbed stands among the most influential metal acts of the 21st century, alongside Slipknot and Godsmack.
