Meet Lisa Marie Raucci
Lisa Marie Raucci is a Chicago-area attorney focusing on real estate and election law at the Law Office of Lisa Marie Raucci, located in Shorewood, Illinois. Born and raised in Wildwood on the far northwest side of Chicago, Lisa has been a resident of Shorewood since 2000. Lisa is a graduate of St. Louise de Marillac High School in Northfield, Illinois and the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign with a B.S. in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate. After founding Strength Through Acquaintance Rape Education USA, Inc. (STARE USA), Lisa has spoken across the country on acquaintance rape and authored a book, “What You Don’t Know…A Discussion of Acquaintance Rape”. Lisa has also served as the Assistant Chief Deputy of the Chancery Division of the Cook County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, and as a Will County Assistant State’s Attorney in various assignments, lastly as the Arson Prosecutor. Lisa married her college sweetheart, attorney George M. Ferreti, in 2001. They live in Shorewood with their two children and dogs. Lisa was thrilled with the invitation to be a part of the Museum, as she sees this organization as playing a key role in the revitalization of downtown Joliet. She feels the Museum’s community outreach efforts in assisting underprivileged children, to explore music in ways that would otherwise be unattainable in their lives will enrich their childhoods and provide additional opportunities for them to achieve success. She looks forward to helping create an attraction celebrating the rich musical talent of our state.
