Larissa Larissa began singing professionally in 2013, as a background vocalist for Marshall Thompson, leader of the world famous, The Chi-Lites, best known for their gold-record hits “Oh Girl” and “Have You Seen Her”.    

In January 2014, Thompson pushed Larissa Larissa’s solo career, asking her to join him on a project…the remake of “Suddenly” a duet originally performed by Olivia Newton- John and Sir Cliff Richard.”Her voice is perfect for it” Thompson said.

The blend of Thompson’s powerful 70’s soul voice and Larissa Larissa’s fresh airy vocals helped re-introduce “Suddenly” as the smash hit it debuted as in 1980. (“Suddenly” is the love theme from the motion picture Xanadu, and is also on the soundtrack to the 1980 film of the same name.) Just months after Larissa Larissa’s release of “;Suddenly”, the single was ranked amongst Amazon’s top ten Best Seller (Contemporary R&B and Pop) lists.

Larrisa Tyler is also the Executive Director of the West Ridge Chamber of Commerce.  Larrisa attended Columbia College in Chicago with her focus on Marketing and Communications.  She later became Director of Marketing and COO of Chicago Citizen Newspaper, and Director of Marketing at SCR Medical Transportation.
