Bob Stroud, is a radio legend in Chicago and was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has been a fixture on the airwaves for decades. His top-rated midday show on The Drive garnered a devoted following, with a cumulative weekly audience of nearly half a million. Stroud’s longevity in the industry is remarkable, starting as a production director at WMET in the late ’70s and later hosting shows on WLUP, WCKG, and WXRT. Now, as he steps into semi-retirement, he’ll continue to host his beloved features: “Ten at 10,” “One 45 at 1:45,” and his signature program, “Rock ‘n Roll Roots,” which has been rocking Chicago for 43 years.  He began Chicago radio career in 1979 with WMET. His journey continued through stations like WLUP (The Loop), AM 1000, CD 94.7, and WXRT. However, it was at The Drive where he truly became an icon. With 43 years in radio, Bob Stroud is widely respected as one of the most influential voices in rock ‘n’ roll in the Windy City.
