At age 13, Andrew Calhoun began writing songs and performing in coffeehouses. At 15 he lied about his age and worked all summer to earn the money for a guitar and began to play open stages at The Earl of Old Town, Somebody Else’s Troubles, etc. and he eventually found paying work at various clubs in the Chicago area. Here he plays an Old Town School event featuring himself, Rebecca Armstrong and Alvin McGovern.
