Erik Enervold

Erik Enervold is an graphic designer with over 30 years experience and owner of Simian Brothers Creative, a full-service design and print studio based in Morris, Illinois. 

 Erik began his career in the sign industry, hand painting signs, lettering vehicles and hanging off of buildings painting billboards before moving into computer graphics and design as that industry became more digital.  Before launching his own company in 2018, for two decades, Erik served as Art Director for a large point-of-purchase retail display and exhibit company producing award-winning work for large national clients in a wide-variety of industries.

 In addition to serving local business clients, his design and illustration work has included gig posters, album covers, t-shirts, retail packaging, book covers, magazines and comic books and has been seen on HBO Television, ESPN Sports, Caesars Palace, Walt Disney World… and at the Illinois Rock and Roll Museum.

 Erik has a love of music and since high school, he has been a performing drummer playing in a wide variety of original and cover bands playing everything from hard rock and heavy metal to punk, Top 40, blues and country.

 When not working, he likes to spend time with his wife and family, cooking, reading, enjoying live music and playing enough guitar to entertain himself (and no one else)
